Apartment Sydney is a modern and spacious holiday apartment (sleeping 4 + 2). Nearby the charming village of Alvor, this 2 bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor and has a communal pool. Access to the pool and garden is reached via stairs or lift to a lower level and then just a few steps to reach the pool area. The living/ dining room is open plan and bright with large windows, satellite TV, a comfortable sofa, a dining table and air conditioning. The kitchen is separate and fully equipped with all appliances and utensils, such as dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, and also washing machine, iron and ironing board. Within the kitchen is another dining table perfect for breakfast and there is also a balcony and a pantry. The 2 bedrooms are furnished with double beds and fitted wardrobes and one has a small terrace with outside table and chairs ideal for early morning coffee. There are two bathrooms one fitted with a bath and overhead shower and the other with a walk-in shower. This holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of the famous fishing village of Alvor known for one of the longest sandy beaches in the Algarve (approx. 5 min driving from the apartment) also well known for having a wonderful boardwalk along the beach. The nearest golf course is Alto Golf only 2 min driving from the apartment. There is a supermarket, coffee shop and restaurant within walking distance. Alvor is an ideal base to spend a relaxing holiday and although is it a small town, it has an abundance of good restaurants and a lively night life scene. Free Wi-Fi is included and there is air-conditioning in the living room (there is also a portable air conditioning unit). Car hire is recommended, especially if you wish to discover more of the Algarve. Should you wish to hire a car, we can help you with your request. Other options of transportation are the local bus and local taxis. The changeover day for this property is on Saturday (however, this may be flexible in low season). **If your flights are booked or your dates are fixed and these do not match the changeover day, please send an enquiry to confirm that they can be accepted before making a booking.** Check-in schedule: from 16:00 to 00:00 Check-out schedule: 10:00 Minimum stay is 7 days or multiples of 7 (however this may be flexible in low season) Breakage Deposit Groups: EURO 150 per person (payable by credit card only) Booking handling, insurance and archive fee of 2,9% to be added on all payments: deposit / final balance / breakage deposit / airport transfer / extras / excursions. Prices up to 4 people. The 5th and 6th persons pay an additional rental amount for an extra bed for either an extra bed (for only EURO 77 each, per week) or, in the case of small children (babies/toddlers), a cot (for only EURO 21 each, per week). The administration cost for the alteration of dates is EURO 150.*** According to local regulations, a tourist tax will be applied during your stay. This tax varies depending on the time of year: From November 1st to March 31st: EURO 1 per person per night. From April 1st to October 31st, 2024: EURO 2 per person per night. This tax is applicable only to guests aged 13 or older, for a maximum period of 7 consecutive nights.
